Review:
This book is a little bit different from the others, this books primary focus at least in my opinion was between Kate and Curran. Finally, things have come to a head with their non-romance. We start the book with a WTF moment, thinking what in the *ell just happened?!? Kate is PISSED and it’s not looking good for Curran. If you thought there was tension before, this book brings it to a whole other level. The sparks are flying between these two strong willed people. Kate may not be a were but she is an Alpha in attitude. She does not take Currans high handed approaches well and she is out for revenge. There are a couple of LOL moments as these two try to one up each other. Curran and Kate may actually figure this thing brewing between them or they may not… You’ll have to read it to find out!

On top of the Curran problem, Kate’s past may have finally caught up with her. Roland’s number one terror, a thing out of ancient mythology has made its way to Atlanta and is taking out shifters and leaving disease in its wake. Kate needs to figure out how to take out this thing straight out of nightmares without bringing attention to herself. She already has one of Roland’s lackeys hunting for information on her, the last thing she needs is more coming after her. More than her own life is at stake. But this fight might be her most difficult yet. She can’t count on her friends this time, the scourge turns shifters wild and they don’t come back from it; she just can’t risk any of her friends in this fight, the stakes are too high. As with all of the other books, the action is non-stop and very entertaining. You can’t get bored with a Kaye Daniels book, I just don’t think it is possible. There is just so much packed into one book and this one is no exception!
