Cheyenne McCray - Vampires Not Invited

A Night Tracker Novel:

Vampires Not Invited:

Summary:
It’s been a long couple of nights. The sprites have obviously lost what few marbles they had and are causing so much mischief around the city that the Night Trackers are kept busy tracking and arresting them. What the Trackers don’t realize at the time is that the spirits are doing to keep the Trackers occupied do that the Vampires could obtain some top secret information, information that is dangerous to all other paranormals.  The Trackers must stop this at all costs for it could mean the life of every single paranorm that was not born human.  The vampires are sick of being considered second class citizens and have come up with a way to finally control all other paranorms. This novel is full of power struggles and battles.

Review:
I did not enjoy this novel as I did the previous two, it seems like Nyx is making more fatal mistakes than she has in previous novels. Some of the things she did in this novel were just incredibly dumb and just ended up pissing me off. It is like she was being completely narcissistic and no one else could do the job as well as she could, when in the last novel it was shown how other members of the team could be such valuable assets to the team.  Also I knew the premise from the werewolves was going to come back and bite them all in the ass once more and I was correct. But Nix’s mistakes may be fatal for all paranorms.

Rating:
2.5 moons out of 5
