Why I Love Wednesdays - Sidekicks

Reflections of a Bookaholic

Welcome to Why I Love Wednesdays! Or as I call it Why I Love Winesday. This Meme is hosted by Reflections of a Bookaholic. Today's proclamation of love concerns our Favorite Sidekicks!

My favorite that first comes to mind is Levet, the mini gargoyle, from Alexandra Ivy’s Guardians of Eternity Series. He first appears in the second book and is a reoccurring character in most of the following books. He is a tiny French gargoyle, who always manages to help save a damsel in distress and piss off our brooding hero and proved some comic relief. Gargoyle’s are supposed to be huge and fierce magic wielders, but poor Levet tops off at 3 feet tall and has gossamer wings and his magic usually literally blows up in his face, but is all the more charming for it. =) This is one gargoyle that will win your heart!

I have heard rumors that our Levet is getting his very own novella soon while he is on a Parisian vacation so I am looking forward to that.

While I am posting I missed last week’s Why I love Wednesday, which was books that are humorous and since I love to laugh, I just wanted to throw these two authors out there because they NEVER fail to have me laughing!

Anything by either:
Rachel Gibson (Contemporary Romance)

Or

Molly Harper (Paranormal Romance and Contemporary Romance)

As a side note, I haven’t read anything by her but I was at a book signing and she was there and had me laughing so I figured if she was funny her books would be too.

Julia Quinn (Historical Romance)
